Faith In Who You Are!

Don't go for what others say, believe in who you really are! Believe in what you're doing!
Everyone plays an important role, no one can act as you better than you!
Success is our achievement, what we earn! Keep someone as your role model but don't be desperate to follow them, try to be better and lead a way for others to follow you!
Learning is a step that continues throughout our life! We shouldn't be disappointed if we fail, instead, we should learn from our mistake and even other's mistakes and try not to do them again....!

Success and Failure go together!

Within us, there lies an inner dream and motivation that guides us to success. This inner force drives us to do the impossible! But, in order to succeed in life, we face many difficulties and failures! We should never be disheartened once we fail, instead, we should rise up and challenge our fear! We should never quit!
Why do we fail? Why do we fall once we reach the top? So that we can learn to rise up again! It is so because when we reach the top, there is no way to go but to go down! But when we are already down, we always have room for improvement to rise up again! Life is difficult! We face many obstacles and difficulties! But this is just life's way to test us whether we can take more or we can easily surrender!

Interview of a Shopkeeper!

If they can work this hard, then why can't we?

Interview of a poor and needy shopkeeper who lives near my house.
Interview by: Syed Adeel Akhtar

How long have you been a shopkeeper?
For about 15 years now.

About how much do you earn a day?
I earn about Rs 2000/- a day.

Do you get any profits?
I keep a profit of Rs 5 to Rs 10 on every product, till the end of the month,  i earn about Rs 60,000. But then again, in buying the products to sell, about quarter of my earning is used. And since the expensive is increasing day by day, i have to earn for my family and most of my money is spent! After spending my money on food and other survival items, i am left with about Rs 1000 or Rs 2000.

Are you married? Do you have any children?
Yes, i am married and i have a son and a daughter.

Do you have any partner in your business?
No, i work alone though i have a sweeper to clean the shop so that more customers come in.

Do you have any family members that help you in your work?
Yes, my brother and i work very hard and since he is younger than me and isn't married, we combine our money and live together.

What kind of problems do you face?
Some times, there is a shortage of some product and less customers come to my shop, i still have to pay the bills and it gets really difficult to split the money for different purposes. Sometimes, i also have a lot of loss if none of the customers come and buy things, this gets too hectic for me to manage my shop and support my family but i have to work hard and withstand every problem no matter what happens!

My shop is all i have, my family and i survive only because of my business and i don't know where i would be if something happens to my shop!

Interview of a Poor Farmer still keeping Hopes High!

They are same humans as us, they also face problems but they have the courage to withstand every problem life throws at them.........!

INTERVIEW:-

Describe the nature of your farm.
I mainly grow feed crops. Feed crops are crops that are used to feed cattle. The crops that I grow are alfalfa, corn, and wheat. I do grow cotton and other when the prices for them are better.

How many years have you been in business?
I have been farming for twenty-seven years.

How many employees do you have?
I have three full-time employees and six to seven part-time employees.

Do you pay them hourly or are they salaried?
I pay them by the hour because sometimes they only work a few hours and other times they work many hours. Therefore, it wouldn't be fair for them to get a weekly or monthly salary year round.

How much do your employees earn each hour?
I pay them six dollars a hour, but their wages increase the longer they work for me. For example, a new employee only gets six dollars an hour because they're just learning the required skills that they will need. On the other hand, a person who has worked for me for ten years has developed many skills, and, therefore, deserves more money.

How many hours do you work as the owner?
In the winter I work eight hours a day, but in the spring, summer, and fall I work twelve to fourteen hours a day. Many times a farmer's work depends on the weather. For example, if the crop needs water and it hasn't rained, I must irrigate my fields which can take many hours. At other times, I spend my time in checking my fields for pests. If I find them, I have to apply pesticides. If my machinery breaks down, I have to fix it. Of course, I must also make sure my crops get picked when they are ready.

What's the biggest problem in operating your business?
I think the biggest problem is the availability of water. I farm in an area that is normally dry. If it does not rain much during winter, then our reservoirs that store water from winter snows for spring and summer irrigating start to go dry. Sometimes I have to pay a high price for water.

Positive change in our Society!

In order to change others and make them follow rules, we must change ourselves! Who knows, others might get motivated by our act and change their personality too!

Generosity!

There isn't any other better way than using our money for charity!
Spending money on enjoying the pleasures of the world is pointless!

Giving Charity!

Helping the poor or needy with charity won't make anyone any less richer, it will just bring a slight positive change in their personality!

True Heroes!

The true heroes aren't those who are rich and famous, true heroes are those who care for others and they are ready to do anything for their country!

Helping the Needy!

Having the current situation of our country in mind, we should be practical enough to do something for our Muslim brothers and sisters who are in desperate need of our help!
To raise a educated society, we must spread the means of education to all; for that, we can educate or teach the children of our maids or we can even give our old books to them so that they can learn!

Success!

Keeping the praise we get after working hard, we should always concentrate and work hard so that we always prosper!
